We met Scott for a pre-wedding shoot and felt immediately at ease with him. He knew we were not that comfortable in front of the camera but by the end of the session we felt so much more relaxed!

Wow, where do we begin with a review for Scott?

We first met Scott way back in 2019, but after a few date changes due to Covid we finally had the day we wished for in June 2022.

From start to finish Scott has been brilliant, and meeting him again at our pre wedding shoot was the perfect opportunity for us to understand what the day will be like and practice how our images would be captured (he also got some super pics of our dog Nancy too!).

Scott put us at ease from the moment we met him, and this was the same on our wedding day. Scott fitted in perfectly, kept everything organised and running smoothly, but was also great fun and a lovely calm influence!

I knew from the first moment I met Scott at the wedding exhibition that he was the photographer for us! After a change of date, we decided that we just wanted to secretly elope to Glencoe.

Carrie was in contact immediately following my enquiry and provided all information we could possibly need at that stage. Scott was in contact following our securing the service and answered all questions and relieved any anxieties.

The pre-wedding photos were fantastic and a great way to get to know Scott and his process better.

The wedding went fabulously. Scott got all the shots we asked and photos were stunning! Scott was good with changes and prepared for anything; he worked well even with those who are not fans of being subjects of photos and struggled to smile.

Carrie was good about scheduling a meeting to display and discuss album options and was patient with our indecisiveness along the way. When we finally made a choice about which of our stunning photos to include, which was super difficult due to the number of fantastic options we had, Scott was prompt in getting proofs back to us and edited again when we made a change.

Amazing, just amazing!

Carrie & Scott were amazing from the moment we spoke to them about our wedding. They took time to discuss the different packages and options available and how it would all work during the pre-wedding photoshoot and on our wedding day.

Before our big day, they were in touch several times to double, triple check all details which was really reassuring. Scott also called the day before to finalise the plan to cover all Scottish weather!

Couldn’t ask for a better photographer. Scott made our day. He was super friendly and relaxed. All of our guests loved Scott as he interacted with the guests, which can be uncommon in a photographer.

You will not be disappointed booking Camerashy. From start to finish, working with Camerashy has been perfect. Carrie is so lovely and responds so quickly to any questions you have, no matter how many you ask - for me it was 100s!

Scott is just amazing at what he does, we can't thank him enough, our wedding photos are just what we wanted and Scott has captured every part of our wedding day! I'd forgot some parts of my wedding day so I'm so glad that Scott captured these and we can look back at the amazing pictures of them!

We were both not keen on getting our picture took, but because Camerashy offer the pre-wedding shoot, we were not nervous at all when it came to our couple shots on the wedding day; we actually enjoyed them! I really wanted some of our couple shots outside on a really wet day but this was no issue for Scott, and what amazing pictures we got despite the weather. Scott also looks after your dress and plans ahead on the best areas to get pictures so it doesn't get too dirty. Not that it worried me as I wanted pictures outside, so having pictures that would last a lifetime was way more important than a muddy dress. He's so good at organising your dress to make it look amazing in pictures!

We have 2 young children and Scott was so lovely and patient with them and our children still talk about him. Scott was more than just our wedding photographer he was like a guest at our wedding; he's so funny and kind, but also very organised! I was so nervous and no one else had noticed but Scott did and he was so patient with me.

Scott really did go above for both of us on our wedding day! We also had a videographer and Scott worked so well with them.

We Will Definitely be using Camerashy Photography again for family photos they both are amazing at what they do and we are so lucky to have beautiful pictures of our wedding that will last forever.

Our wedding photos were brilliant. Scott understood immediately the mood of the wedding and his photos show it. The communication with Carrie was excellent, easy and quick.

Weddings are stressful to plan, and Carrie made the photo part so much easier. Scott is also brilliant. He was, as we say in Mexico, "the soul of the party" for the moments between the wedding and the wedding breakfast.

We had booked a pre wedding photo shoot and the pictures were beautiful and very natural, we also included our daughter and the dog in the photos. Scott made us both at ease and prepared us for the big day.

We also had an online zoom meeting and again was very relaxed allowing us to ask questions and prepared us for how the day would go.

Had a fantastic experience with Scott and Carrie from Camerashy. We first met Scott at a wedding fair and we liked him straight away.

We had to delay our wedding by a year for Covid and Carrie was very quick at getting back to us with dates able to do for this year. Amazing experience and photos

We were incredibly happy with our experience with Scott and Carrie and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking wedding photos or any other kind of photos.

If you’re debating whether to choose Camerashy, do it!

We were married April 2021, which meant there was lots of uncertainty about dates, numbers, venues, etc., because of the changing COVID-19 protocols. Scott and Carrie had incredible patience with us as the numbers and venue changed several times, and their flexibility was a godsend for us with all the other changes going on. In fact, we could not have gotten married without them, as they acted as our witnesses when it became clear our Canadian families would not be able to join us on the day. This was just one of many ways in which they bent over backwards for us and made our wedding day as perfect as it could have been.

We never waited more than a few minutes for an email response from them, and all communications were very clear so it was easy to be on the same page. Carrie was in constant communication as government guidance changed and immediately notified us when we were able to do a pre-wedding shoot—which is a great feature of their package, as I had no idea I would be nervous in front of a camera! Having a bit of practice posing and getting comfortable in front of the camera meant that on the big day it was second nature, and the photos turned out amazingly as a result.

On the day, they arrived exactly when they said they would, fully prepared and ready to go. Scott started taking photos within a few minutes of arriving and made our ‘quaint’ flat look amazing in the prep photos. He took more photos throughout the ceremony, but we barely noticed because he was unintrusive and respectful. He somehow managed to get several different angles during the ceremony, despite having to work around a tripod we set up to record a video—and he never once got in the frame!

After the ceremony, he took us to some nearby areas and it was clear he had pre-scouted the location and knew exactly where we should stand and how to pose us. We took a quick break for dinner and then met up again that evening, but we made him wait nearly an hour because our dinner took much longer than we thought. Nonetheless, he was so patient and gracious, where others would likely have been grumpy after a full day of work.

A great experience is only worthwhile if the photos turn out, and we were amazed at how beautiful the pictures were. His pre-planning meant that the images were perfectly composed and lit, and the pre-wedding shoot meant that we looked natural and relaxed. Scott has definitely earned his title of Master Photographer. He provided photos in various different styles to capture different moods from the day and each one has a timeless quality that only excellent photographers can create.

Our wedding day couldn’t have happened without Carrie and Scott, and they were a big part of making it perfect for us. Plus, we got along really well with them and found them personable and easy to chat with. We would enthusiastically recommend Camerashy to anyone seeking professional photography, especially for weddings.

You simply will not find a better Photographer...

Scott was recommended to me by our humanist, and listening to that advice was the best thing I could have done for our wedding day.

From the first meet, Scott feels like an old friend. Both my partner and I are cripplingly awkward about having photos taken, but despite this Scott made us feel so comfortable very quickly with his positive attitude and banter. We didn't make the day challenge-free for Scott, as along with having our horses and dog an integral part of the day, we also got married outside on the day of an actual storm!

Despite enough pressure to put the fear into most wedding photographers, Scott not only stayed calm and reassuring to us, but found ways to make it all work in our favour.

It didn't just feel like we had hired someone to take pretty pictures, it felt like we had found someone who was just as invested in the day as we were and he was genuinely excited about our ideas.

We have seen the sneaky peek photos from our day and I may not sleep for the next few weeks until we get them all as I'm just SO excited! We are thrilled with what we have already seen and feel like we are reliving the day again each time we look at them.

I can't sign off without also mentioning Carrie. This lady has superpowers as there wasn't one piece of correspondence that I didn't get an answer to within 20 minutes, no matter what time of the day or night it was sent.

Overall I can't believe what a truly stunning experience we have had and what amazing value for money we got it for.

Brilliant photographer that brings the banter...

We found Scott at a local wedding exhibition and knew he was the right photographer for our wedding! (The fact we got free chocolate was an added bonus!) From the first meeting to arrange the details he was unbelievably thorough and flagged things up we hadn’t even thought of for our peace of mind!

He made us feel very relaxed with the whole process and like he’s completely invested in his work, which he is! Even though we booked quite a long way in advance Scott and Carrie were in touch a lot and walked us through everything which was a godsend, as our wedding has ended up being split in 2 thanks to Covid! They have been so accommodating with the whole thing and we honestly can’t thank them enough!

Our wedding day was the wettest day I have ever experienced.... and I really mean it! It pelted down all day but that didn’t put Scott off. What can we say about Scott..

From the beginning when we met him at a wedding exhibition almost two years ago we just knew he was the right photographer for us. It was important for us to find the perfect photographer and we definitely found that in Scott.

He was an absolute pleasure to work with and cannot thank him and Carrie enough for their help and support around re-planning our wedding, changing our venue and everything else due to Covid - they certainly made things much less stressful.

Well we spent ages online looking at the work of all the local photographers I could find. Fortunately for me Scott's work stood out and when we met him we were confident he would do a great job for us.

Scott is very amiable, confident but not arrogant and very professional. On the day of the wedding he went above and beyond to ensure the children, the older members of the family and everyone else was well looked after and not left out. He thereafter disappeared into ninja mode to capture all the natural shots.

So I first met Scott and Carrie at a wedding fayre and just instantly clicked - both so friendly and down to earth!

We had our wedding 5 weeks ago and everyone still comments how amazing our photographer was! Scott was so professional, yet friendly when moving guests in and out of photos etc!

It rained and rained and it rained some more on our wedding day but Scott had a plan A&B! He had never shot our venue before (Carlowrie Castle) and willingly came and met us before the wedding so he could familiarise himself with the venue. He didn’t have to do this but I thought it showed how serious he was and how much pride he takes in his work.

We have just received our final photos back and are absolutely delighted with them!! They are all amazing! I’ve been at weddings where people have had 3 photographers and the photo quality is nowhere near as good as Scott’s!!

As for Carrie who is behind the scenes; she is the quickest responder via email ever.... which when you are a stressed out bride is exactly what you need!!

From first contact we knew we wouldn’t regret choosing Camerashy for our big day. Scott and Carrie were absolutely fantastic throughout the process and made it all so simple and straight forward.

The trial photo shoot was invaluable and really put us at ease before our wedding day.

On the big day Scott went out of his way to get the perfect shots for us and that’s what they were, absolutely perfect.

Scott from Camerashy was great from start to finish. He was extremely professional, the final photos were stunning and all with a friendly and personal touch.

As a couple, we met with him on two occasions before the wedding. The first, in order for us to get to know a bit about each other and get an understanding of what would happen on the wedding day.

We then met Scott again at the venue for a pre-wedding shoot around a month prior. This allowed us to see how he worked and what he required from us for the photos. It made the whole process more comfortable and allowed things to run smoothly on the day.

Scott also took the opportunity to get to know the venue and start planning his shots in advance. We got everything we wanted but got to maximise our time enjoying the wedding which was credit to Scott.

One highlight from the photoshoot was a journey to a location up the hill in an agrocat (think small tank). I think Scott may have enjoyed the drive more than us!
